Two Apples, One Lemon and Four Flowers is a 1988 lithograph by David Hockney and published in the Independent Newspaper and the LA Herald Examiner, and: 

• The work is a color print on newsprint,
• The work was created as an insert for The Independent newspaper,
• It was published in The L.A. Herald Examiner on February 5, 1988,
• The lithograph is monogrammed in the lower right corner of the plate, and:
  • The work was printed in the normal run of the newspaper.
  • Hockney provided four separate pieces of work, each in black and white, that corresponded to the four colors of the printing process: cyan, magenta, black, and yellow.

The print is in good consition and has a small vertical crease through the centre of the picture. This is because the print was folded when inserted in the newspaper
